Dennis Rae Bollig

Dennis Rae Bollig, 57, died Tuesday, Aug. 31, 2010.

He was a building specialist for 15 years at Qwest Communications. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran with 20 years of service.

Survivors include a son, Nathan Christopher Bollig; his parents, Norbert and Margie (Fahey) Bollig; three brothers, Robert "Bob" Bollig and wife, JoAnn, Fairfax, Va., Michael "Mick" Bollig and wife, Suzanne, Hays, and Keith Bollig and wife, Jennifer, Overland Park; three sisters, Sharon Pfeifer and husband, Kenny, Phoenix, Glenda Pfaff and husband, Randy, Russell, and Rhonda BaKer and husband, Lyle, Hays.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bill and Bertha Fahey, formerly of Quinter.

Private burial will be in Fort Logan National Cemetery, Denver.

Memorials are suggested to Mercy Center or Rocky Mountain Cancer Center, Colorado Springs.
