Pepper solution

I'd like to address the problem of gun violence in gun-free zones, especially schools. Gun free is a beacon to the demented living zombies among us, the evil ones among us.

Me, myself and I have reached a consensus, and we offer the following as an alternative to putting armed guards in every school as per the NRA. Arming and hiring guards is a very expensive, slow process and cumbersome system to implement.

What I propose is as near as your local gun store, etc. Is it a perfect solution? No. Nothing mankind does is perfect. Arm every school employee who is agreeable with a Kimber pepper gun, the best there is. The old admonition of "don't take a knife to a gun fight" still holds true.

Kimber has two models, the Pepper Blaster II and the Guardian Angel. I prefer the G.A. as it can clip to your belt and, at first glance, looks similar to a pager or cellphone.

Either model is cheap (around $35), safe and effective as they use pyrotechnics as the propellant and not the weaker gas-charged type. It shoots out at 90 mph, has no drift and has a range of 15 to 20 feet. If you can point your finger, you can use them -- very simple. You don't have to know guns or how to shoot.

Schools could have many, many mini guards all through the school. It is very quick to install, no licensing requirements, no extra personnel to hire, no training classes. As far s concealed-carry licensing, there's no time spent and ammo for practicing and no background checks. Usually they are not barred by local law. So many positives and so much better than trying to use your hands and body to shield little kids as at Sandy Hook School. This, along with other security measures, would compliment each other. Not perfect, but very good.

Ladies, you might want to consider whether such an option would fit your personal life, as it's a very dangerous world out there. Believe me, if a creepy crawler is shot in the face with one of these, he'll forget his intent. His eyes will close involuntarily and hurt like hell, his airways will close to a great extent and have a hard time breathing, he'll be incapacitated for 30 to 40 minutes. Plenty of time for the cops to finish their coffee and donuts before responding to your 911 call. Sorry guys, just had to say it.

OK, motor-mouth Desbien, put your money where your mouth is. I have. I've given Kimbers to my bride, my daughters, daughter-in-law, granddaughters of legal age, family and a few friends -- just to those that wanted one. More than 20 in all, all for the price of one good pistol. Kimbers are much better for the average person, safe and discreet. God forbid you ever need one.

The only advice me, myself and I give is check your local laws, etc. A dealer can probably advise you in that area, law enforcement for sure. Be safe everyone.
