Earl R. Hobbs

Earl R. Hobbs, 83, Leawood, died Monday, Jan. 21, 2013, at Homestead of Leawood.

He was born July 10, 1929, in Aurora, Colo., to Earl R. and Betty J. (Ross) Hobbs.

He married Shirley McGee in July 1950 in Colorado Springs, Colo. He was an educator and coach.

Survivors include a son, Greg Hobbs and wife, Chris, Hays; a daughter, Sherri Arnhold and husband, Buck, Olathe; four grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and two sons, Steve Hobbs and Jeff Hobbs.
