Edward John Zink

Edward John Zink, 84, Phillipsburg, died Wednesday, March 10, 2010, at Phillips County Hospital, Phillipsburg.

He was born Oct. 13, 1925, in Logan to Edward Frank and LaVergne (Watkins) Zink.

Survivors include his wife, Erna; four daughters, Margaret Lafferty, Viola, Mary White, Wichita, Nancy Donahey, Lawrence and Kathleen Morrison, Boulder, Colo.; a step-daughter, Janice Smith, Marysville; a sister, Kathleen Harlowe, Salina; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; 16 step-great-grandchildren; and eight step-great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at SS Philip & James Catholic Church; burial in Pleasant View Cemetery, Logan.

Visitation will be until 9 p.m. today at Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel, Phillipsburg.

A rosary will be at 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Memorials are suggested to church or Hospice services in care of the funeral home.
