Edwin 'Eddie' Hertel

Edwin "Eddie" Hertel, 91, Dodge City, formerly of Ness City, died Monday, March 8, 2010, at Western Plains Medical Complex, Dodge City.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Sacred Heart Cathedral, 903 Central, Dodge City; burial in Greencrest Memorial Gardens, Dodge City, with military graveside rites by Howard Gotschall Post No. 1714, Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Visitation will be until 8 p.m. today at Swaim Funeral Home, Dodge City.

A vigil will be at 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
