Agenda 21

Agenda 21

Are you watching what is going on at the local, state and national levels? People who are following what is going on are talking about Agenda 21. They are talking about sustainable development. What the heck is Agenda 21? Sustainable development? Agenda 21 and sustainable development is the action plan to inventory and control all land, all water, all minerals, all plants, all animals, all construction, all means of production, all information, all energy, and all human beings in the world. Inventory and control!

To learn how Agenda 21 and sustainable development affects you the Big First Tea Party will host three experts on March 12 who will explain in detail how this is being implemented locally, statewide and nationally. The program will be at 6 p.m. at Thirsty's, 2704 Vine.

The three experts are Dee Saddler, a businesswoman and deputy director of the national Patriot Coalition; Richard Fry, general counsel of the Patriot Coalition; and Richard Ranzau, a county commissioner in Wichita. The team provides education on Agenda 21 and sustainable development.

The federal government is using terms like, "sustainability," "smart growth" and "high density urban mixed-use development." Have you wondered where these terms came from? Doesn't it seem like about 10 years ago you never heard of them and now everything seems to include these concepts? Is that just a coincidence? That every town, county, state and nation in the world would be changing their land use/planning codes and government policies to align themselves with ... what?

I think most Hays Daily News readers have heard of the United Nations. Well, far from being a "conspiracy theory" or a "fantasy theory," this is an actual United Nations plan, signed onto in 1992 by President George H.W. Bush along with 178 other world leaders. The U.N. called it Agenda 21 because it is the agenda for the 21st century. According to U.N. Secretary General Maurice Strong, the "affluent middle class American lifestyle is unsustainable." That includes single family homes, private vehicles, appliances, air conditioning and meat eating. This American lifestyle is a threat to the planet.

This might sound like a silly plan that doesn't affect you, but look around. The fact is over the last 20 years this plan has been implemented all over the United States. It's called sustainable development using the three Es: ecology, economy, equity.

In 1993, President Bill Clinton created the President's Council on Sustainable Development for the sole purpose of getting it into every city, county and state in the U.S. through federal laws, regulations and grants. This is a global plan, but it is implemented locally. You'll see it as a regional plan. The plan calls for stack and pack housing, restricted mobility, domestic surveillance, smart meters and loss of freedom. You are being manipulated.

How could something that sounds so good be so bad? These buzzwords were designed to make you think you're doing something good for the planet. This is the biggest public relations scam in the history of the world.

Clinton began to implement it in the U.S. by giving the American Planning Association a multi-million grant to write a land use legislative blueprint for every municipality in the US.. It is called "Growing Smart Legislative Guidebook with Model Statutes for Planning and the Management of Change." This is being used to train planners in every university, college and government planning office in the nation.

Growing Smart is in the planning departments and its principles are in the city and county plans throughout our country. Besides this is "The Local Agenda 21 Planning Guide" put out by the United Nations. Urban areas are being consolidated and rural areas are being emptied of people through restrictive land use policies, gasoline costs, loss of rural road maintenance, closure of rural schools, closure of rural post offices, water well monitoring and smart meters,

We object to Agenda 21 and sustainable development. We need to wake up to what is going on in our country. We need to have a united front to resist what our politicians are doing to us.

This will affect you and your children. Is it time for you to learn more about this ideology that will take from you what you have and give to those who for whatever reason don't have, redistribution where everyone is equal. It has started to happen. If you don't like it you may want to listen to our three experts who will explain it in more detail.
