Three All-Americans for Tiger wrestlers

OMAHA, Neb. -- Three Fort Hays State University wrestlers earned All-American honors on Saturday at the NCAA Division II national tournament.

Junior Andre Harrison finished third at 141 pounds, while seniors Danny Grater (157) and Tommy Edgmon (125) each finished fifth.

Grater and Edgmon both lost in the championship semifinals. They dropped their first two matches on Saturday before winning their fifth-place matches. Grater finished at 25-10 and Edgmon was at 22-5. Harrison started Saturday's action in the consolation bracket, but reeled off four consecutive wins for third place. He finished the year at 26-5.

On Friday, senior Blake Malloy won his first match, but lost his next two, finishing at 33-10. Senior Shawn Kuhlman lost his first two matches and finished 21-15.
