Gerald 'Duke' O. Wolters

Gerald "Duke" O. Wolters, 80, Portis, died Sunday, Dec. 30, 2012, at Parkview Care Center, Osborne.

He was born Aug. 10, 1932, in Portis to Lester O. and Dalice Marie (Smith) Wolters.

He married Marjorie (Lumpkin) Wolters. He was a farmer.

Survivors include his wife, Portis; a son, Gary Wolters, Portis; three daughters, Joni Lou Johnson, Larned, Gina Schamberger, Hoxie, and Jodi Spindler, Topeka; a sister, Phyllis Simpson, Alton; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Grace Brethren Church, Portis; burial in Fairview Cemetery, Portis.

Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday at Clark-Gashaw Chapel, Osborne.

Memorials are suggested to Grace Brethren Church, Portis, in care of the funeral home.
