Gladys M. Jamison

Gladys M. Jamison, 86, WaKeeney, died Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2013, at Hays Medical Center.

She was born Nov. 15, 1926, east of WaKeeney to Fred and Julia (Hervey) Buchholz. She attended Rinker School for eight years and was a 1944 graduate of Trego Community High School.

She married Morris Jamison on Jan. 20, 1946, in Quinter. She was a school cook at USD 208 for 17 years.

Survivors include a son, Ross Jamison, WaKeeney; a daughter, Connie White, Sharon Springs; three brothers, Roy Buchholz and Duane Buchholz, both of WaKeeney, and LaVerne Buchholz, Hillsboro; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Schmitt Funeral Home, WaKeeney; burial in WaKeeney City Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until time of service Saturday at the funeral home.

Memorials are suggested to Presbyterian Church, Walk-A-Thon for Health or Trego County-Lemke Memorial Hospital Endowment Fund in care of the funeral home.
