Long-Jilka

Gary and Carolyn Long, Hill City, and Mike and Karen Jilka, Hillsboro, announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their children, Traci Michelle Long and Kyle Ross Jilka.

Grandparents of the couple are the late Burton and Artha Griffey, Lorraine Long, Hays, the late Marion Long, Ermal and LoVaune Rasmusson, Salina, Beth Jilka, Hill City, and the late Les Jilka.

The bride-elect is a 2004 graduate of Hill City High School, a 2008 graduate of Fort Hays State University with a bachelor's degree in speech-language pathology. She plans to complete her master's degree in speech-language pathology at FHSU in May 2010.

The prospective bridegroom is a 2004 graduate of Hillsboro High School and a 2008 graduate of FHSU with a bachelor's degree in physical education. He will be teaching and coaching this fall at Hill City High School.

A July 25, 2009, wedding is planned at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, Hill City.
