Lorna Jean Webster

Lorna Jean Webster, 65, Stockton, died Saturday, Dec. 19, 2009, after a brief courageous battle with lung cancer at her son's home in Westminster, Colo.

She was born Aug. 16, 1944, in Hays to Howard and Eloise (Briggs) Webster. She graduated from Stockton Rural High School and attended Kansas State University as a music major.

She married Terril L. Granger on Sept. 5, 1965, in Stockton.

She obtained her real estate license and sold real estate in Hutchinson for several years.

Survivors include a son, Andrew Granger, Westminster; two daughters, Raina Granger, Fort Collins, Colo., and Dana Cayen, Loveland, Colo.; four sisters, Karleen Hrabe, Plainville, Gwendene Carter, Kingwood, Texas, Jolene Arford, Boulder, Colo., and Kristine Travlos, Wilmington, N.C.; and seven grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Main Street Christian Church, Stockton; burial in Stockton Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday at Smith-Moore-Overlease Funeral Home, Stockton, and from 10 a.m. until time of service Monday at the church.

Memorials are suggested to American Cancer Society or American Lung Association in care of the funeral home.
