Marvin Francis Windholz

Marvin Francis Windholz, 66, Victoria, died Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2013, at his home.

He was born Feb. 19, 1946, in Hays to Jerome and Irene (Geist) Windholz. He was a graduate of Victoria High School.

He married Mary Catherine Miller on Oct. 22, 1966, in Victoria. He was a truck driver for 28 years and owned and operated M&T Trucking. He drove for Golden Plains Trucking for eight years. He was a U.S. Army veteran.

He was a member of St. Fidelis Catholic Church, Victoria.

He enjoyed gardening, fishing, photography and making rosaries.

Survivors include two sons, Chris Windholz and Jared Windholz and wife, Andrea, all of Victoria; a daughter, Janine Kisner and husband, Jeff, Victoria; his father, Victoria; a brother, Alfred Windholz and wife, Judy, Victoria; a brother-in-law, Larry Karlin, Phillipsburg; his former wife, Victoria; and six grandchildren, Ashlyn, Kaitlyn and Jack Windholz, Taylor, Lane and Collin Kisner.

He was preceded in death by his mother; a sister, Mary Ann Karlin; three infant brothers, Joseph, Cletus and John; and two infant sisters, Mary and Ann.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Fidelis Catholic Church, Victoria; burial in St. Fidelis Cemetery, Victoria, with military honors by the Victoria VFW Post No. 1751.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday and from 8:30 to 9:45 a.m. Friday, both at Cline's Mortuary, 412 Main, Victoria, KS 67671.

A vigil will be at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the mortuary.

Memorials are suggested to the Marvin Windholz family in care of the mortuary.
