Mildred Smith

Mildred Smith, 73, Hays, died Wednesday, Oct. 21, 2009, at St. John's of Hays.

She was born March 27, 1936, to Chesley and Essie Sevedge.

She was a homemaker.

Survivors include three sons, Wes Smith, El Dorado, Tim Smith, Farmington, Mo., and Jack Smith, Hays; two daughters, Kathy Menville, Cedar Park, Texas, and Brenda King, Cypress, Texas; a brother, Gary Sevedge, Chanute; three sisters, Marie Gardner and Linda Radford, Springfield, Mo., and Carol Floyd, Chanute; 12 grandchildren; and two adopted grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three sons.

Private family services will be at a later date.
