Ruth Ann Kaiser

Ruth Ann Kaiser, 89, Quinter, died Friday, Nov. 27, 2009, at Gove County Long Term Care, Quinter.

She was born Aug. 23, 1920, in rural Sheridan County, to Ruth (McClure) Martin and Phillip Martin II.

She married Francis "Frank" Kaiser on Aug. 12, 1940. He preceded her in death Sept. 3, 1994. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include three sons, Ronald L. Kaiser and Rex Kaiser, both of Quinter and Roger Kaiser, Dodge City; a daughter, Judy Riggs, Berthoud, Colo.; a brother, Thomas J. Martin, Goodland; eight grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and three step-great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Park; burial in Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery, Park.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today with a vigil at 7 p.m. at Schmitt Funeral Home, Quinter.

Memorials are suggested to Quinter Volunteer Ambulance Service or Gove County Medical Center Long Term Care in care of the funeral home.
