Compassion or hypocrisy?

Compassion or hypocrisy?

OK, I can't stand it another minute. I simply have to point out what should be obvious, but sadly, will be overlooked by many. The situation in Syria is tragic -- the killing of innocent children is deplorable and unacceptable. However, what I must point out is the unbelievable hypocrisy of our president and others in our country who believe we have the right to send missiles into Syria to supposedly "protect innocent children who are dying on cold hospital floors" and "protect moral ideals" when each and every year -- for more than 40 years -- we have allowed well over a million babies to be slaughtered in a just as cruel, just as violent, just as morally wrong fashion through abortion. The irony is absolutely sickening.

In his recent address to the nation, President Barack Obama talked about the 1,000 innocent children who were killed in Syria and the horrible images of their dead bodies, and how we cannot tolerate the use of chemical weapons against innocent people. Where in the heck is his outrage for our own dead children?

He is not so ignorant as to be unaware that deadly chemicals are used to kill U.S. babies in the womb, so where was his great sympathy when pictures from abortionist Kermit Gosnell were released -- pictures of body parts in bags and jars? Where was his outrage at the pictures that surfaced of countless chubby, otherwise healthy and nearly full-term babies with severed spinal cords -- many of whom were killed after they were born? Our president and most of the media were dead silent. I want to know why Obama and his crew fight so hard (and with your tax dollars) to give mothers the right to kill their own children by way of acid, slicing their bodies apart or lethal injection to the heart here in the U.S. and other countries, yet suddenly they are so very distressed about children in Syria? What a bunch of hypocrites.

What a bunch of hypocrites -- every single American is who supports abortion, but wants the U.S. to use missiles against another country for doing an act just as heinous.

I do not profess to know exactly how to handle Syria. I do, however, agree with the pope's request that prayers rather than bombs be sent to Syria.

Please, people, wake up. Open your eyes to see the truth. Open your mind and heart to genuine love and sacrifice. Think for yourself. Do some checking. Get a computer and do a search of the names, "Gosnell" and "Leroy Carhart" and see what you find. Do a search for the undercover video of an abortion clinic in Albuquerque, N.M., (still open) whose doctors and nurses instruct women in the process of an abortion to go to their hotel room, sit on the toilet when they feel something happening, and "don't look into the toilet, just use your cellphone to call us and we'll come clean things up." Look it up. I challenge you.

For those who are not computer-savvy, ask someone to help you. The evidence is out there if you really want to know the truth. For those who are so sure that abortion is acceptable, or sometimes a "necessary evil" as I have often heard many call it, then watch my Youtube video, "How Dark the Night." If you can't even look at these pictures, then it shouldn't be happening. Period.

Until Americans quit burying their heads in the sand about what abortion really entails and what is really happening to our children, this greatest atrocity in the history of man will continue, and our country will never feel the complete blessing and protection of our Creator. In the meantime, Mr. Obama, and all those who refuse to lift a finger to stop the massacre of the most innocent in our own country, please, just stop the pretense of caring about the welfare of children in other countries, because I'm not buying it and neither are the other countries.

Last time I checked, allowing babies to be aborted into a hotel-room toilet is not very loving or caring, yet perfectly legal in this country, so just cut the baloney. Admit you have a different agenda. And if I am wrong, then by all means, prove it by putting your great compassion to work to stop the slaughter of the children here in the United States. Perhaps then our country would have some real credibility as a moral example.

"You hypocrites! Well did Isaiah prophesy of you when he said: This people honors me with their lips, but their heart is far from me." Matthew 15: 7-8
