TMP golfers finish third

GOODLAND -- Senior Brady Rohr medaled with his fourth-place finish to lead the Thomas More Prep-Marian boys' golf team at Tuesday's Goodland Invitational at Sugar Hills Golf Club.

Rohr shot a 79 for the Monarchs in their season opener; they finished third in the team standings at 361. Goodland won at 317, followed by Ulysses at 323.

Goodland's Gage Ihrig took medalist honors with a 75.

Other scores for TMP were Max Megaffin with an 88, followed by Kade Megaffin with a 96, then Justin Gottschalk shot a 98, and Kelton Schuckman finished at 99 and Garrett Stoecklein was at 109.
