Theresa (Zimmerman) Haffner

Theresa (Zimmerman) Haffner, 90, Quinter, died Thursday, Jan. 3, 2013, at Gove County Medical Center Long Term Care, Quinter.

She was born Feb. 22, 1922, in rural Park to Theodore and Rosalie (Heier) Zimmerman.

She married Steve Haffner on June 4, 1946, in Park. He preceded her in death April 22, 1997. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include two brothers, Fabian Zimmerman, Quinter, and Ed Zimmerman, Hastings, Neb.; seven sisters, Kathryn Younger and Sally Burgardt, both of Sebastopol, Calif., Johanna Dreher, Commerce City, Colo., Alberta Knoll, Lakeport, Calif., Albina Moore, Santa Rosa, Calif., Loretta Waldman, Grinnell, and Rowena Thomas, Petaluma, Calif.

Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Park; burial in the church cemetery.

There will be no visitation.
