Verlene Pauline Fuchs

Verlene Pauline Fuchs, 92, Hoxie, died Friday, Aug. 27, 2010, at Sheridan County Long Term Care, Hoxie.

She was born Aug. 14, 1918, in Hoxie to William and Pauline (Rall) Oelke.

She married Herbert C. Fuchs on Nov. 25, 1948, near Hoxie. He preceded her in death April 29, 1994.

Survivors include two daughters, Carolyn Fuchs, Hoxie, and Lu Ellen Coulter, Colby; a sister, Emmaline Cummings, Salina; two grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Hoxie; burial in Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery, Hoxie.

Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. today at Mickey-Leopold Funeral Home, Hoxie.

Memorials are suggested to the craft department of the Sheridan County Long Term Care or to Immanuel Lutheran Church, both of Hoxie, in care of the funeral home.
