Wasinger-Mayers

Ray and Janice Wasinger, Victoria, announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Melissa Jean Wasinger, to John Christopher Mayers, son of John and Marie Mayers, Albert.

The bride-elect is a 1997 graduate of Victoria High School and a graduate of Fort Hays State University. She is employed at High Plains Mental Health Center.

The prospective bridegroom is a 1997 graduate of Otis-Bison High School and a graduate of K-State. He is employed at WW Drilling, WaKeeney.

An Aug. 29, 2009, wedding is planned at St. Fidelis Catholic Church, Victoria.
