TGOF campaign continues in 2013

Fort Hays State University will host a Chamber Chat at 9 a.m. Friday in the Victor E. Lounge in Gross Memorial Coliseum to kick off the Tiger Gold on Friday Community Business Contest.

Businesses that want to participate can go to www.fhsu.edu/tgof for details. The contest is from Friday through Feb. 15.

Winning businesses will get tickets to the March 1 Fort Hays State University basketball game for approximately 30 people. The evening will begin at 5 p.m. with a pre-game buffet dinner and drinks in the Victor E. Lounge.

It's easy to enter:

1. Go to www.fhsu.edu/tgof and fill out the entry form.

2. Encourage your employees to wear Tiger Gold on Fridays.

3. Take a group photo.

4. Upload it to the Fort Hays State University Facebook page (www.facebook.com/forthays) or send it to webmaster@fhsu.edu to be uploaded.

5. Decorate your business/office or your storefront window and post a photo of it.

These photos should be posted to Facebook each Friday from Jan. 18 through Feb. 15. The more weeks with a post, the more chances to win. Be creative, as additional entries will be awarded for the most creative photo each week.

The Tiger Gold on Fridays Committee is a subcommittee of FHSU's BrandIT! Committee. TGOF is a partnership among FHSU Athletics, FHSU Alumni Association, Hays Area Chamber of Commerce and Eagle Communications. The committee is leading an effort to establish a tradition of wearing Tiger Gold each Friday.
