Indian golfers third at Great Bend

GREAT BEND -- The Hays High School boys' golf team took third Monday at the Great Bend Invitational.

The Indians finished with a team score of 345. Dodge City won with 303, and Great bend was second with 332.

Kaden Beilman was the lone Indian medalist, taking ninth with an 83.

Ryan Unruh shot an 84, and Nathan Romme and Lane Clark rounded out the team score with 89s.

Payton Ruder and Cash Hobson carded a 91 and 92, respectively, but didn't figure into the team scoring.

Chase Lynd competed as junior varsity and shot an 82.

Hays High is in Dodge City today.
