Hays High wrestling beats Dodge City

DODGE CITY -- The Hays High School wrestling team defeated Dodge City in conference action Tuesday.
The Indians improved to 14-7 in duals.
Hays High got much of its success from the higher weights, sweeping from 145 to 285 pounds.
Senior Jake Sedbrook earned a victory by a 5-1 decision at 145. Seniors Leroy Franco, Clay Drylie and Kyler Meyers pinned their opponents at 152, 160 and 170 pounds, respectively.
Sophomore Ethan Deterding got a pin at 182 pounds, and freshman Braydon Delzeit pinned his opponent at 195 pounds.
Juniors Preston Weigel and Vincent Scott also registered pins at 220 and 285 pounds, respectively.
