TOPEKA, Kan. (AP) -- The Kansas National Guard gets a new command sergeant major this weekend.
The state command sergeant major serves as the senior enlisted leader and adviser to the Kansas adjutant general and the Joint Forces Headquarters.
Steve Rodina is retiring from the position after nine years. On Saturday he'll turn over the duties to Command Sgt. Maj. Scott W. Haworth.
