Search continues for 3 missing NW Kansans

ATCHISON, Kan. (AP) -- Atchison County authorities say they are continuing to pursue the mysterious and unrelated disappearances of an elderly couple and another woman who lived in the county.

The family of 58-year-old Patricia Kimmi of Horton has postponed a search for her for two weeks to accommodate hunters. Kimm has not been seen since Nov. 6.

Atchison County Sheriff John Calhoon says it appears that Kimmi was abducted for her home.

At the same time, county authorities continue to look for Billie Bob and Mary Black, an elderly couple who haven't been seen since they drove away from their Atchison home on Sept. 11.

Calhoon says the Kimmi investigation is more active, but the search for the Blacks also continues.
