TMP wrestling competes in Phillipsburg

PHILLIPSBURG -- The Thomas More Prep-Marian wrestling team competed at the Panther Classic on Saturday.

No Monarchs placed at the tournament, and only 132-pound senior Lucas Walker registered a win.

Walker finished 1-2, falling in the consolation semifinals to Tyler Watts of Beloit by a 9-3 decision.

Walker got knocked out of the winner's bracket by tournament runner-up Phillipsburg senior Caleb Studley by an 11-0 major decision, and Walker then pinned Marysville's Mitchell Schoenberger on the consolation side.
