Dorothy E. Schwartz

Dorothy E. Schwartz, 95, of Pleasant View Home in Inman, died Monday, Feb. 6, 2012.

She was born Oct. 12, 1916, in Claflin to Walter and Flossie (Hummel) McKay. She was a graduate of Russell High School.

She married Ralph W. Schwartz on Dec. 14, 1936, in Russell. He preceded her in death April 28, 1998.

Survivors include four children, Dwayne Schwartz, Houston, Dennis Schwartz, Wichita, Donna St. Aubyn, Hutchinson, and Don Schwartz, St. Marys; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Clarence and Kenneth McKay.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Brock's North Hill Chapel, 2509 Vine, Hays, KS 67601; private family inurnment will be at a later date.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until time of service Friday at the funeral home.

Memorials are suggested to Pleasant View Home, 108 N. Walnut, Inman, KS 67546, in care of the funeral home.
