Rosalyn Koerner, 59, Munjor, died Friday, Feb. 10, 2012, at Hays Medical Center.

She was born July 14, 1952, in Hays to George and Angela (Staab) Koerner. She was a 1970 graduate of Hays High School.

She was a custodian at Fort Hays State University.

She a member of St. Francis Catholic Church, Munjor.

Survivors include four brothers, Jim Koerner and wife, Arlis, Melvin Koerner and wife, Rose, Dan Koerner and his companion, Diane, and Bob "Rocky" Koerner and wife, Janet, all of Hays; six sisters, JoAnne Barton, Carol Hustead and husband, Roy, Judy Dreher and husband, Don, and Janet Batman, all of Hays, Marlene Dyke and husband, Bob, Bella Vista, Ark., and Linda Hammerschmidt and husband, George, Victoria; a brother-in-law, Ron Hamel, Plainville; a sister-in-law, Jean Koerner, Hays; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Arlen and Kenny Koerner; a sister, Mary Lou Hamel; and two brothers-in-law, Robert Batman and Jerry Barton.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Francis Catholic Church, Munjor; inurnment in St. Francis Cemetery.

Friends can call from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at Hays Memorial Chapel Funeral Home, 20th and Pine, and from 9 a.m. until time of service Tuesday at the church.

A vigil will be at 6:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
