GOODLAND — A Colorado man was injured in a one-vehicle accident Monday evening approximately a mile from the state line.

Gerardo Tarango-Olivas, 51, Greeley, Colo., was driving a 2000 Honda Civic westbound on Interstate 70 approximately 17 miles west of Goodland when he went left of center and into the median, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol.

Tarango-Olivas overcorrected and went off the road on the right side and into the ditch. The Honda rolled and came to rest on its top, the KHP report said.

The driver was taken to Goodland Hospital. He was wearing a safety restraint.
