GOODLAND — A Colorado driver was taken to the hospital with possible injuries after a one-vehicle crash Monday evening.

Samantha L. Cruts, 18, Aurora, Colo., was driving a 2006 Toyota Corolla eastbound on Interstate 70 just before 7 p.m. approximately 14 miles east of Goodland when the vehicle hit the north guard rail. The car came to a stop on the south shoulder, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol.

Cruts was taken to Goodland Regional Medical Center. Passenger Garrison William Alloway, 19, Aurora, Colo., was not injured. Both were wearing safety restraints, according to the KHP.
