GOODLAND — A Fort Riley man was injured when his vehicle was struck by a semi Sunday near Goodland.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, Christopher M. Vance, 26, Fort Riley, was driving a 2011 Subaru eastbound on Interstate 70 approximately 6 miles west of Goodland at about 5:45 p.m. when he was rear-ended by a 2005 Peterbilt semi driven by Benjamin W. Overbay, 53, Mack, Colo.

Both vehicles ended up in the south ditch. Vance was taken to Goodland Regional Medical Center. Overbay was not injured.
