BAZINE — Three people were injured when their car rolled Sunday near Bazine.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, a 1998 Toyota T100 driven by Jose German Rivera Jr., 26, Dodge City, was eastbound on 125th Road approximately a quarter mile east of Bazine near EE Road when he lost control on the gravel.

The Toyota skidded into the south ditch, rolled onto its top and came to rest facing west.

Rivera and passengers Ricardo Ballines, 36, Denver, and Julio Cesar Rios-Santoyo, 26, Aurora, Colo., were taken to Ness County Hospital. None were using safety restraints, according to the KHP.
