Award-winning author, Robert Day, will present “The Life and Times of a Kansas Author,” at the Ellis County Historical Society annual meeting on Monday. There will be a brief membership meeting at 7 p.m., followed by Day’s presentation at 7:30.
Day has taught students around the world how to improve their writing skills, including more than a few at FHSU. He has published both fiction and non-fiction on many subjects. Copies of “The Last Cattle Drive,” “Speaking French in Kansas,” and “The Committee to Save the World,” will be for sale at the event.
The meeting and presentation are free and open to the public.
Ellis County Historical Society, founded in 1972 and located at 100 W. Seventh in Hays, collects, preserves, and exhibits items and documents that illustrate the history of Ellis County.
