COLBY — Three people were taken to the hospital in Colby following a one-vehicle accident Saturday evening in rural Thomas County.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol report, Brandon Michael Domsch, 32, Brewster, was driving a 2001 Ford Windstar south on Kansas Highway 25 approximately 5 miles south of Colby when he lost control of the vehicle on an unbladed road. The vehicle entered the west ditch and struck a utility pole.

Domsch and two of his passengers — 13-year-old Bladin Domsch and Amanda K. Marcum, 31 — were taken to the Colby hospital with possible injuries.

Three others in the vehicle — Mason Z. Givens, 12, Garrison M. Marcum, 6, and Kamri Marcum, 5 — were not injured.

All six were wearing safety restraints.
