DODGE CITY — The Hays High baseball team cruised to pair of run-rule victories at Dodge City on Tuesday, sweeping the Red Demons 20-1 and 12-2 to move to 4-0 on the season. 

The Indians spotted Dodge a run in the first inning of the first game before unleashing back-to-back 10-run innings to force the run rule after three innings. 

Hays put up 21 hits while pitcher Cole Murphy held the Red Demons to four. 

Hunter Brown, Palmer Hutchison, Trey Riggs, Cody Petersen and Trey Van Pelt each had four hits for the Indians. Chase Voth homered for Hays. 

Hays spread out the scoring in the second game, starting with three runs in the first inning. The run rule was forced after five innings. 

Brown and Murphy each had two hits for the Indians while Riggs earned the win on the mound, allowing two runs and three hits.
