The Thomas More Prep-Marian girls soccer team cruised to a 10-0 win over Wichita Independent on a cold and windy Friday afternoon at TMP.
Kayla Vitztum and Ashley Ostrander each netted hat tricks for the Monarchs, who improved to 5-1.
Aubrey Koenigsman started the scoring with a goal in the 14th minute and then assisted on Vitztum's first goal about two minutes later.
Ostrander scored her first goal in the 27th minute on an assist from Vitztum, who then scored back-to-back goals to complete her hat track and give the Monarchs a 5-0 halftime lead.
Koenigsman scored the first goal of the second half in the 43rd minute with Kaylee Hernandez assisting. Ostrander then netted her second goal in the 44th minute on an assist from Koenigsman, and Hernandez converted off a corner kick four minutes later.
Ostrander completed her hat trick in the 56th minute off an assist from Jillian Lowe, who scored the last goal of the game off a corner kick from Koenigsman.
Julia Cox picked up the shutout in goal for TMP, which will play host to Liberal on Tueday.
