The Hays Area Board of Zoning Appeals will meet at 8:15 a.m. Wednesday at city hall.

Agenda items include:

A request by MAO Investments/Mark Ottley for a 5-foot variance fence to reduce the west side yard building setback from the required 10 feet to 5 feet to construct a new building. A public hearing could be scheduled.

A request by Kirk and Deb Chapin for a variance in fence height from the required 42 inches up to 6 feet at their front property line. A public hearing could be scheduled.
