DODGE CITY — On a night devoted to seniors, two of them came up big for the Red Demons on Thursday night as the Dodge City girls soccer team won its third straight, beating Hays High 1-0.

Senior Ariana Temblador scored and the defense continued to play strong, combining with senior goalkeeper Angie Ojeda to help the team earn its sixth consecutive shutout and third straight win.

The Red Demons have won four of their last five, their only non-win in that span being a 0-0 draw against Garden City.

The win makes the Red Demons 6-6-2 overall, while Hays dropped to 8-5-1.
