The Thomas More Prep-Marian baseball team moved to 15-1 on the season, picking up 5-4 and 9-2 wins Thursday at Goodland.
In the first game, TMP built a four-run lead by scoring four in the fourth inning and then held off a Goodland rally.
Trenton Mayo had a two-run double in the fourth for TMP and the Monarchs also got runs off a sacrifice bunt from Tate Garcia and an RBI groundout by Gavin Schumacher.
Chase Werth went 3.2 innings on the mound, allowing two runs on one hit and striking out nine. Cole Zimmerman threw 3.1 innings in relief.
Garcia led the Monarchs with two hits in the first game.
In Game 2, TMP scored three runs each in the second, fourth and fifth innings. Schumacher and Zimmerman had two hits apiece.
Garcia earned the win on the mound, allowing two runs and two hits in four innings of work.
