Timothy Charles “Tim” Fry, 63, died Thursday, May 31, 2018, at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita, after sustaining injuries from a motorcycle accident.  

He was born on Dec. 16, 1954, in Leavenworth to the late Charles and Dora (Luttrell) Fry. On Oct. 16, 1971, he married Roberta Lynn Selbe in Plainville. They later divorced. He worked in the oilfield.

He is survived by his children Kandie Morain and Shane Fry, both of Plainville; brothers Darell Fry and Eddie Fry, Kansas City, and Lynn Fry, Des Moines, Iowa; sisters Kathy Richardson, Tonganoxie, and Mary Beth Sharpe, Kansas City; seven grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Edward Fry, sister Cheryl Stevens, and his former spouse.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the United Methodist Church, Plainville. Burial will follow in Plainville City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Plumer-Overlease Funeral Home, Plainville, with family receiving friends from 2 to 3 pm.
