The Hays Eagles Sr. Legion baseball team moved to 15-1-1 on the season with 12-1 and 13-5 victories on Tuesday at Dodge City. 

In the first game, Cody Petersen and Dawson Harman each had three hits and four runs driven in for the Eagles, who pulled away with five-run innings in the fifth and sixth frames. 

Petersen, Jamison Martin, Willie Sennett, Brett Hermann and Harman all saw action on the mound in the first game. 

Hays led 10-1 after three innings in the second game and forced the run rule in the fifth. The Eagles finished with 13 hits, all singles. Sennett led the Eagles with three hits and drove in three runs.  

Cole Murphy, Trey Riggs, Brady Kreutzer, Carson Jacobs and Braiden Stauth pitched for the Eagles. 

The Eagles will begin a tournament in Omaha, Neb., on Thursday. Their opening game will be against the Wichita Aeros at 9 a.m.
