A Hays man entered a plea agreement Tuesday for a case in which he allegedly threatened another person with a brick in November.
George Clayton McDougall entered a guilty plea for a charge of criminal threat, a level nine person felony. The recommended sentence is 12 months in prison, Assistant Ellis County Attorney Chris Lyon said. A post-release supervision is suggested to run concurrent with probation McDougall is serving for a prior conviction.
McDougall was arrested Nov. 26 in the 100 block of East 15th after police received a report of a verbal altercation that became physical.
