HAYSVILLE — The Hays Larks dropped a 9-6 decision to the Haysville Aviators on Wednesday. 

Haysville got four early runs off of Larks’ starter Mason Myhre and then scored four more off reliever Sam Slusser, leading 8-3 after five innings. 

The Larks outhit the Aviators 11-8 but committed four errors.

Hays will go for the series win at Haysville at 7 p.m. Thursday. 

Matt Munoz and John Rensel each had two hits for the Larks, who fell to 31-8 overall and 23-7 in the Jayhawk League.
