Dianne C. Matreci, 69, Hays, died Friday, Aug. 24, 2018, at Via Christi Village Care Center, Hays.
She was born Jan. 24, 1949, in Chicago to August and Lucille (Casey) Matreci. She grew up in Wichita, and was a 1967 graduate of Kapaun Mount Carmel High School. She attended the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Wichita.
She worked for LSI of Wichita as a purchasing specialist for a number of years and retired in 2008. She moved to Hays in 2015. She was involved in the PTA in her children’s schools, and one of the original soccer moms.
Survivors include two sons, Daniel Keller, Fort Worth, Texas, and Travis Keller and wife, Shelly, Hays; a daughter, Jerri Keller, Tampa, Fla.; her former husband, Byron Keller, Wichita,; a brother, Bob Matreci, Santa Rosa, Calif.; four sisters, Mary Goodnight and husband, Tom, Lakeland, Fla.; Kay Green and husband, Walt, Golden, Colo.; Gayle McNurlen, Plano, Texas; and Denise Deming, Manitou Springs, Colo.; six grandchildren, Kalie, Jordan, Nikki, Maddie, Benjamin and D J; and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Steven Keller; a step-mother, Eleanor Matreci; a sister, Jeanine Clark; a sister-in-law, Vicki Matreci; and a nephew, Eric Deming.
Services will be at 10 am. Friday at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Wichita; burial in Kechi Township Cemetery.
