William Matthew “Bill” Robinson, 88, Monument, died Sunday, Aug. 19, 2018, at Mitchel County Hospital, Beloit.

He was born July 5, 1930, in Sharon, Kan., to Jake and WInifred (Tarrance) Robinson. He was a 1948 graduate of Sharon High School.

He married Patricia Fay West on May 6, 1961, in Kiowa.

Survivors include his wife, Monument; three sons, Mark Robinson, Libenthal, John Robinson and wife, Rhonda, Sharon Springs, and Luke and wife, Karen, Denver; two sisters, Lucille Webb, Bourbonnais, Ill.; and Virginia Brown, Bethany, Okla,; three grandchildren, Sonya Busby, Colby, Briann Robinson and Nathan Robinson, both of Denver, a great granddaughter, Kora Busby, Colby; and several step-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother Ralph Robinson, Colorado Springs, Colo.; and two brother-in-laws, Dwight Brown, Bethany, Okla., and Bill Webb, Bourbonnais, Ill.

A private family inurment will take place at a later date in Monument Cementery. Cremation was chosen.

Memorials are suggested to Alzheimer’s Association in care of Baalmann Mortuary, Oakley.
