GARDEN CITY — Led by three top-10 placers, the Hays High girls golf team finished second in the Garden City Invitational on Monday at Buffalo Dunes Golf Course. 

Hays' Sophia Garrison took third with a 92, while Taleia McCrae was fifth with a 99 and Emily George was ninth was a 105. Brittani Park's 106 rounded out the top four scores for Hays. 

The Indians finished just three shots back of Garden City's 399 for the team title. Great Bend was third (433), followed by Dodge City (482) and Liberal (495).

Stanton County's Ryli Cook won the individual title with a 75, edging Garden City's Alyssa McMillen by nine strokes.
