PLAINVILLE — The Thomas More Prep-Marian volleyball team picked up a pair of wins in a triangular at Plainville on Tuesday, improving to 15-10 on the season. 

TMP beat Norton, 25-21 and 25-14, and then edged Plainville, 21-25, 25-12, 25-23. 

Emilee Lane had a team-high 27 kills on the day. Kassidi Yost and Sophia Coulter both had 24 assists and Emilee Augustine recorded 22 digs.    TMP SOCCER PICKS UP 8-1 WIN   SALINA — The Thomas More-Prep Marian soccer team rolled to an 8-1 road win over St. John's Military School on Tuesday. The Monarchs were led by Ryan Karlin's hat trick.    TMP (5-3) will play at Great Bend next Tuesday.   TMP CROSS COUNTRY WINS AGAIN   The TMP girls cross country team placed first as a team in the Lyons Invitational on Tuesday. It was the third straight meet win for the team.   Up next is the Mid-Continent League meet at Phillipsburg on Oct. 4.    HAYS HIGH SOCCER ROUTS JUNCTION CITY   The Hays High boys soccer team earned a 7-0 win at Junction City on Tuesday, improving to 4-7 on the season. The Indians will play at Liberal on Thursday.
