DODGE CITY — The Hays High volleyball team went 2-2 in the WAC Tournament on Saturday in Dodge City. 

The Indians defeated Dodge City (25-14, 25-14) and Liberal (21-25, 25-17, 25-17) but took losses to Garden City (12-25, 14-25) and Great Bend (14-25, 23-25). 

Hays was led by Tasiah Nunnery's 46 kills while Hannah McGuire dished out of 58 assists. 

The Indians sit 22-11 on the season. They will play at Salina Central on Tuesday. 

MONARCHS SPLIT MATCHES IN DAY 2 OF MCL

The Thomas More Prep-Marian volleyball team went 1-1 on the second day of the Mid-Continent League tournament and finished the tournament at 2-2. 

TMP opened the day with a 25-21, 25-21 loss to Trego before beating Oakley, 25-23, 25-7. 

The tournament was won by Smith Center, who beat Phillipsburg 25-19, 25-16 in the final.
