GREAT BEND (GH) — A Great Bend man who shared pornography involving children under age 5 was sentenced Tuesday to nearly 14 years in federal prison.

Charles A. Gann, 49, pleaded guilty to one count of distributing child pornography. In his plea, he admitted that an investigator with the Kansas Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force was able to use a file-sharing program to download child pornography from Gann’s computer.

Gann, who faced from 5 to 20 years in prison, received a 165-month sentence from District Judge John W. Broomes.
