Lewis Toyota of Hays, 4440 Vine, invites the public to celebrate renovations to its facility at 3 p.m. Friday.

After eight months of construction, the dealership will have a new showroom, two customer lounges, a children's play area and Wi-Fi access. Two Toyota corporate officials will visit the site to commemorate the grand opening. Following the automaker's tradition, a ceremonial katana sword will be presented to the dealership.

"It'll help us better showcase the Toyota facilities that we have, the Toyota product that we have and give our customers a pleasant, comfortable place anytime they're in for service or for sales," Ross Harms, general manager, said.

New amenities also include a Starbucks coffee machine, vending machines, a flat-screen television and toys for children.

Paul Holdridge, vice president of sales for Toyota Motor Sales USA Inc., said, "We are confident that this state-of-the-art automotive center will benefit both new and loyal Toyota customers in the Hays region for many years to come."
