Adelia Ann 'Dee' Perrin

Adelia Ann "Dee" Perrin, 90, Ellis, formerly of Oberlin, died Saturday, Nov. 9, 2013, at Trego County-Lemke Memorial Hospital, WaKeeney.

She was born July 24, 1923, in rural Decatur County near Jennings to William and Anna (Flaska) Petrasek.

She was a longtime legal secretary for the Lund Law Firm in Oberlin and worked part-time for the Decatur County Register of Deeds office.

She was a member of the Ellis AARP. She enjoyed bowling, gardening, cooking and spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include two sons, David Perrin, Holdredge, Neb., and Tim Perrin and wife, Denise, Arapahoe, Neb.; a daughter, Melissa Stanton and husband, Tim, Ellis; a sister, Darlene Ferarese, Littleton, Colo.; two grandchildren, Logan and Jessie Stanton, Hays; three step-grandchildren, Jeremy and Ryan Kuck, Omaha, Neb., and Amy Stritt, McCook, Neb.; and four step-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Melvin Petrasek; and a sister, Eleanor White.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Keithley Funeral Chapel, 400 E. 17th, Ellis; burial at 4 p.m. Wednesday in Big Timber Cemetery, rural Jennings.

Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Memorials are suggested to Humane Society of the High Plains or Ellis Food Bank.
